Michael Kohl is a singer, studio guitarist and writer/arranger based out of Los Angeles. For the past decade, he has had the honor of performing professionally. He has played at concert venues on five continents and in-session with the likes of Danny Elfman and Beck and has sung for everyone from Kurt Elling to Simon Cowell to Kobe Bryant.
Equally prolific as a writer, Michael’s vocal arrangements have earned national acclaim in jingle contests for Oreo, Folgers Coffee and Chili’s as well as the International Championship of Collegiate A Cappella. In addition to studio work and live gigs, Michael also tours the U.S. with his original band XY Unlimited ( www.xyunlimited.com ), a quartet of singer-musicians who blend catchy pop/rock hooks with the soaring harmonies of a cappella and vocal jazz.
