“What do you eat or drink in the morning?” Is water your main fluid you consume?
Breakfast Is The Most Important Meal Of The Day
We all know that breakfast is the most important meal of the day. If you don’t know that, then you have been living under a rock. We’ve been hearing this advice for decades. It really is the most important meal of the day so pay attention to what I am about to say. If you follow these simple instructions you will change your health & fitness with this foolproof routine.
You wake up in the morning and you get yourself prepared to go to work. You get into your gasoline or electric car to find the tank or charge is almost empty. What’s the first thing you think of in this situation? Of course its, “I have to get gas or I have to give this a quick charge to get to work.” and/or “I need to be more mindful and plan better so that my car has a full tank of gas or charge to avoid stress.” Either one of these answers would be legitimate, and preferably the latter.
What Is Your Why?
What was your WHY? The WHY was I HAVE TO GET TO WORK and it was big enough to make you come up with a clear and concise answer to your problem. And when you do this over and over, it becomes a good habit. It’s not about being perfect! There will be times you mess up, but that doesn’t stop you from implementing the new rul because you know the benefits always out way the alternative.
Refuel Your Body With Water In The Morning
So back to the question, “What do you eat or drink first thing in the morning?” If I were to answer this question ALWAYS is WATER. H20 baby! Our bodies dehydrate and lose water in our sleep. Research shows that you can burn up to 500 calories in an 8 hr sleep cycle and lose up to an average of 1lb of water weight. So technically your body and cells are on empty or do not have a full charge when you wake up, just like the car is empty of fuel in my previous example. And water makes up to 75% of fluids in your body.
My question to you is, “Why wouldn’t you fuel up your body in the morning with water like you’d fuel up your car if it were low on gas or a charge?” Especially now that you know this information. Most people don’t know why and don’t have an answer other than maybe, “I’m too busy.” You should never, ever be too busy to drink water, the fluid of life. I get it, you’ve been not doing it for so long, so why start now. You can perform without it, you drink coffee or juice. But those drinks and your morning routine is not a recipe for optimal health and fitness. We’ve all engaged in negative habits that don’t support the mind anybody, and we’ve gotten away with it.
Effects Of Aging Because Of Dehydration:
- bad skin
- irregular moods
- bad breath
- lack of energy
- lack of focus
- weak immune system
So the first thing I eat or drink in the morning is WATER. My clients are the owners of Fiji water and I am very lucky to get this water delivered to my house weekly. So I drink 1-2 bottle of water before I eat or drink anything else. Typically I wait until I urinate which is a sign to me that the water I digested has passed and cleaned me out. The water gives me energy, makes me feel great, wakes up my mind and body for the activities ahead of me and prepares my digestion. I’ve been doing this for over 15 years plus.
